Lincoln Park

Welcome to

Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park lies on the north side of the city on Chicago's lakefront and is named for the park that sprawls across 1,200+ acres of this part of the city. In addition to the Lincoln Park community, within the area of the Chicago River to the west, North Avenue to the south, and Lake Michigan to the east are several highly desirable sub-neighborhoods.

Lincoln Park is one of Chicago's most desirable neighborhoods and is host to tree-lined streets, single-family homes, cooperatives and condominiums in mid-and high-rise buildings, world-renowned cultural institutions, and an array of conveniences such as shopping, restaurants, and bars. Lincoln Park has many attractions, including the 1,200-acre Lincoln Park Zoo, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and the 18-mile Lakefront Trail. With its lush green spaces and urban flourishes, Lincoln Park provides the perfect blend of living near the city and being close enough to the city.

Lincoln Park is located just 2 miles north of downtown and is bordered by North Avenue, Diversey Parkway, the Chicago River, and Lake Michigan. This charming community has an appealing blend of active shopping streets, urban college campuses, and tree-lined residential blocks. Increasing popularity has caused the name of Lincoln Park to spread to other smaller neighborhoods, such as DePaul, Wrightwood Neighbors, Sheffield Neighbors, Ranch Triangle, and others. There are a number of great amenities available to residents in these pocket neighborhoods, including grocers, restaurants, and parkland nearby.

Nearby is the lakefront and North Avenue Beach, where volleyball tournaments are bound to occur and beachgoers are sure to rent kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. As for the shops, you'll find everything from upscale boutiques on Armitage to larger retail stores along the Clybourn Corridor, not to mention parks, farmers' markets, and festivals.

Lincoln Park is known for a surplus of impressive eats and drinks. Be sure to check out these restaurants. Blue Door Farm Stand, a farm-to-table cafe with American eats & cold-pressed juice as well as home & pantry items. Alinena, a 3-star Michelin-rated restaurant that is widely recognized as a leader in modernist cuisine. Peaqods Pizza is a must-try if you’re looking for a casual place to grab a slice.
