When it comes to Chicago’s luxury real estate market, having the right strategy and connections can make all the difference. Let me share a recent success story that illustrates just how powerful this approach can be.

I had the privilege of representing a buyer in a transaction at one of Chicago’s most prestigious addresses, the St. Regis Chicago (363 E. Wacker Drive, Unit #6001). This wasn’t just any deal; my client was seeking a rare and highly sought-after floor plan. How rare? There are only 15 units with this layout in the entire building, and they rarely come on the market.

To make it happen, I leveraged my extensive network and took a proactive approach. Through my industry connections, I identified an off-market opportunity that was a perfect match for my client’s vision. This particular unit hadn’t even been listed yet, and to make it even better, it was the largest available unit for this floor plan in terms of square footage.

Negotiation was the next key step, and I’m thrilled to share that we successfully closed the deal for $160,000 below the asking price. This outcome highlights the value of experience, tenacity, and knowing how to navigate high end negotiations in Chicago’s luxury market.
